Dante Bucci
Dante Bucci
Dante Bucci fuses world music and melodic indie rock with his pioneering approach to the Hang drum.

He is a fixture in the Philly indie music scene and one of the most-recognized Hang players in the world, thanks to a constantly-expanding list of subscribers and over 8 million views on YouTube (youtube.dantebucci.com).

Dante plays past the Hang’s ambient, meditative tendencies with insistent melodies and deft percussive strikes. He creates distinct, compelling, hummable songs, sometimes playing two Hangs at once to create a layered, polyrhythmic sound. His debut EP, Reminiscence, adds muscular band arrangements to his songs, which translate with ease to live shows that move bodies and rattle windows.

Solo or backed by a band, Dante’s music always commands a hush. His classical and percussionist experience aids him in pulling sounds out of the Hang that no one else has made - or can figure out how to replicate. From delicate harmonic overtones to deep djembe-like thumps, he pushes the boundaries of the instrument farther than any other player on the planet.
Angela Sheik
Angela Sheik
2011-2012 BOSS US National Loop Champion Angela Sheik is a fierce vocal- and multi-instrumentalist who wows audiences with her fast effects pedal footwork and mischievous smile. She builds her own virtual backup band using rhythmic harmonies, beatbox rhythms, a looper pedal, and a collection of unusual instruments (including autoharp, theremin, and flute). This, combined with soulful, memorable, gut-felt melodies, blends into an electronic-infused, folk-pop style reminiscent of Imogen Heap.

Angela has independently released three albums and toured the US and Europe. She has opened for The Neon Trees, Julia Holter, Tim Fite, Joseph Arthur, Sharon Little, and Terra Naomi. She received a standing ovation while opening for bass legend Meshell Ndegeocello. In the words of Tristate Indie Magazine, “I was blown away by the Angela Sheik experience, and I'm still recovering.”
Martin Rivas
Martin Rivas
Martin began his music career as a late teen with New York City’s Serious Pilgrim, darlings of the late 80’s/early 90’s downtown music scene. Serious Pilgrim’s frenetically-paced and sonically dense live shows won over many, including legendary CBGB owner Hilly Kristal, who installed them in a steady residency at the famed club, seeing them open for Joan Jett, Live, and countless other acts, gaining a rabid and devoted fan base in the process.

Since the dissolution of Serious Pilgrim, Martin has released a total of 6 solo albums, and has shared the stage with a wildly varied palette of artists the likes of Jeff Tweedy of Wilco, Aimee Mann, Dar Williams, Rosanne Cash, Gov’t Mule, Loudon Wainwright III, Garland Jeffreys, Marshall Crenshaw and many many more on stages in the United States, the UK, Ireland, and continental Europe.
